We built this tool to make your voice heard. We did not build it to collect your data. Here is exactly what we do and don't do.
What happens in your browser — and stays there
- Your state, representative selection, platform choice, and message — all of this happens locally in your browser. We never receive it, see it, or store it.
- Cookies — a small cookie is stored on your device when you contact a representative. These cookies help us remind you that you've recently contacted a specific representative, so we can help make sure your messages are spaced for maximum impact. They expire automatically after 7 days.
What we store on our end
- Message counts only — an anonymous running total of how many messages were initiated per representative. No names, no identifying information, just a number.
What we never see or store
- Your name, email, phone number, address, or any personal information
- The message you send — it goes directly from you to your representative through your own account
- Your login credentials for any platform
- Your IP address
- Anything that could identify you as an individual
We don't sell, share, or trade data because we don't have any to sell.
Cookies
These cookies help us remind you that you've recently contacted a specific representative, so we can help make sure your messages are spaced for maximum impact — congressional offices respond better to constituent voices that aren't contacting them repeatedly in a short window. These cookies:
- Are used only to manage the timing of contacts to a specific representative
- Contain no personal information — just a timestamp and which representative you contacted
- Expire automatically after 7 days
- Can be cleared anytime by clearing your browser cookies
Cloudflare
This site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. Cloudflare handles infrastructure-level functions including traffic routing, security filtering, and temporary request logging at the network level. This is standard for any website on the internet. We do not control or access Cloudflare's infrastructure logs. You can read Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Buy Me a Coffee
If you choose to support this project through Buy Me a Coffee, that transaction is handled entirely by Buy Me a Coffee on their platform under their own privacy policy. We receive a payment notification and payout. We do not receive your payment details, name, or email address. You can read their privacy policy at buymeacoffee.com/privacy-policy.
Representatives covered
This tool is designed to help you contact both U.S. Senators and Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The same privacy practices apply regardless of which chamber or which representative you contact.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add features that change our data practices, we will update this page. Given how the tool is built, we expect this policy to stay simple.
